From the 14, October the memorial museum of Pavel Chistyakov has been hosting an exhibition of graphics by Elena Morenova. Elena Morenova was born in 1959, in Leningrad. Her first art education the artist obtained in an Art School №8 located in the Nevsky administrative area. In 1978 Elena graduated from the Art College named after B. Ioganson; in 1984 she received a diploma from the Art Academy of the Soviet Union, the studio of Verzbitskogo. For a long time Elena used to work as an artist and designer at the local officers’ House of culture in Usolie-Sibirskoe township. Since 1991 the artist had worked as an art teacher in Sosnovo-Borsk School in the Kolomna town, where many solo exhibitions of Elena’s works were held. Since 2004 Elena has moved to St.Petersburg and now teaches art at the art-studio ‘Na Lenskom’ at the Youth Center.
