From the 28th of October, 2015 the Memorial Museum of Isaak Brodsky is hosting an exhibition featuring works by Vladimir Yershov. The artist was born in 1964. He acquired professional artistic education at the Academy of Fine Arts in the studios of Boris Ugarov and Victor Reichet. Vladimir Yershov is a member of the Russian Union of Artists (since 1993). His solo exhibitions were held in Russia and abroad; the works by the artist can be found in different museums and private collections. The artistic style of Vladimir Yershov has been formed mainly under the influence of the Russian realistic painting school. In the paintings the artist reflects dynamism, bright colors and fast motions of contemporary life. There are different genres Vladimir Ershov works in: landscape, portrait, genre compositions. Realistic plots together with refined forms are also harmonically combined with energetic brush strokes. At the exhibition one will find works based on impressions from traveling to different places and countries.
