Since the 6th of January, 2016, the memorial museum of Isaak Brodsky has been hosting an exhibition featuring art works of Marianna Davidson. The exhibition marks the 90th anniversary of the artist.
Marianna Davidson was born in Leningrad in 1926. In 1952 the artist graduated from the Higher College of Arts and Design named after Vera Mukhina; she also acquired education in fine arts at the studio of A.R. Aeberling. However, the greatest teacher she still considers her husband Yury Tulin, an outstanding artist himself.
Since 1959 Marianna Davidson has been a member of the Leningrad’s Union of the Artists. Numerous solo exhibitions were held in Russia and abroad. Works by the artist can be found in art collections in Russia, European countries, America and Japan.
The exhibition is open until the 17th of January, 2016.
