The exhibition “The Academic Architectural School of Saint-Petersburg” will open in the grand halls of the Art Academy Museum, where a prominent exhibition took place 100 years ago: “Russian architecture and industrial design”. Back then the society of artists and architects showed projects made also by the academy students during the 18th and 19th centuries. The exhibition was a great success.
Divided in two parts, the current exhibition demonstrates the state of the academic architectural school. The first part displays the whole process of the professional growing of future architects, from the entrance examination work to their diplomas.
The second part features best diploma works made after year 2000.
It is the first time when the architectural school’s work has been presented to the general public.
