Since the 23rd of July, 2014 the Memorial museum of Isaak Brodsky has been hosting an exhibition “Beloved Russia” featuring latest works dedicated to the beloved motherland, Russia, by the painters Anatoly Annenkov and Sergey Volkov and the sculptor Pavel Shevchenko. All three exhibition participants graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin and became members of the Russian Union of Artists. Anatoly Annenkov, Sergey Volkov and Pavel Shevchenko actively take participation in different exhibition in Russia and abroad. Their works can be found in many state and private collections in Russia, Germany, England, France, Belgium, Switzerland and United States of America. Each of the three artists has a unique style; what unites them, is the common motif: them being attracted to the quiet, one can say even unremarkable places which, however, are special to every person. Fine works that are displayed at the exhibition can refer to tranquility of such places.
The exhibition will be open until the 3rd of August, 2014
