| On the 17th of September, 2014 the memorial museum of Isaak Brodsky will host the grand opening of the exhibition “The Harmony of Moments” featuring paintings by Oktay Alirzaev. The artist was born in 1961 in Dagestan, graduated from the department of Graphics from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.Repin (1991-1997). He is a member of the Russian Union of Artists (since 1999) and a member of many local and international exhibitions. His works can be found in the collection of the Museum of History of Makhachkala city, in private and state collections in Russia and abroad.
The exhibition will display landscapes and portraits made by the artist during his more recent years of work. One can characterize his oeuvre as deeply national and very humanistic. His works evoke interest in his motherland and abroad as the artist “speaks” a language everyone is able to understand.
