The exhibition features paintings and sculptures created by the artists of the union SNOP (such as Evgeny Gruzdev, Anatoly Danilov, Viktov Egorov, Matvey Makushkin, Vladimir Presnyakov, Sergey Sergeev, Vasily Smirnov, Elena Filippova and Igor Frolov). The union consists of those artists who at different times graduated from the Art Academy and at present consider themselves to be followers of such styles as realism and impressionism. These former art students seek for inspiration in the art and culture of the "fin de siècle", an art movement which spread from France over many European countries and Russia in the early 20th century. Thus, there is no accident that the exhibition is held in the halls of the memorial museum of I. Brodsky where one will also find a unique collection of the Russian artists of that very epoch.
The exhibition will be open until the 15th of February, 2015
