Invite on February 18, at 16:00, for inauguration of exhibition of Vladimir Sevostijanov’s art works
Vladimir Sevostijanov lives and works in the City of Vladimir.
In 1977 he graduated from one of the oldest education establishments of Russia – the Penza Art School named after K. A. Savitckiy, and has since then been permanently participating in art exhibitions. From 1990, he is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. The artist’s works are in the Graphic Art Center of the City of Vladimir, in the Vladimir-Suzdal History, Architecture and Art Museum-Reserve, in the Vladimir Regional Culture Committee, in the Ministry of Culture of Russia, in the Museum of Modern Art in Moscow, in the Graphics Institute of USA in California, and in private collections of Russia and abroad. In the foundation of artistic perception of V. Sevostjanov is emotion, feeling, cognition of nature and life, striving for harmony and pithiness, and the beauty of being. The artist’s painting is not based on the number of colors, but on the extreme performance of one color, on its expression, and on seeking harmony with other colors.
